Below are answers to questions I'm frequently asked about posting on the site:

What kinds of animals or pets can I post ads about?

You can post ads about any pet or animal who fits the following criteria:

• Is lost and you've found him/her
• Has been lost and you're looking for him/her
• You're interested in adopting a pet yourself
• You're looking for a new home for your pet(s)

Can I charge any money in an ad?

No, this is strictly forbidden as it is essentially selling the pet.  The only exceptions to this rule are when a reward is posted for finding a pet, or a registered charity asks for a donation for vet fees incurred when housing the pet.

Can I post endangered or exotic species of pet on the site?

No, again this is forbidden.  In these cases we also tend to err on the side of caution, so if we're not sure the pet is exotic or not we'll generally remove the ad.  If you are unsure, please contact us before posting.
